- 6For more information on how to remove the battery, please refer to our video on how to take out the battery from your Lenovo A7000.Put one finger into the crescent-shaped notch and pull the battery up to remove it.
- 7You will see that there are two SIM slots. The first one is labeled "USIM SIM1" and "4G 3G 2G". This means that the first SIM slot supports LTE (4G), 3G, and 2G SIM cards. The second one is labeled "SIM2", and it only supports 2G. It's important to note this because if you have two SIM cards in your phone, one for data and one for calls, then you need to put the data SIM into the "SIM1" slot. The other SIM card can be inserted into the "SIM2" slot. That way you will be able to make and receive calls and still use high-speed data.Set the battery aside.
- 8There are a micro-SIM and a nano-SIM cards. The difference between a micro-SIM and a nano-SIM cards is mainly that there is still some plastic on two sides of the micro-SIM card, and there is basically no plastic around the nano-SIM card. The SIM slots are large and designed to accommodate a micro-SIM card. If you put a nano-SIM into one of the slots, it may get stuck. There is a VisiHow video on how to remove a stuck SIM card from Lenovo A7000.Now, let's look at our SIM cards.

- 11You will notice the SIM card will slide into the slot and then stop. You don't need to do anything more than slide the SIM card in. Only a small portion of the SIM card might be protruding from the slot. Your SIM card has been inserted. You should now be able to replace the battery and turn your phone back on.Put your finger on the end of the SIM card and carefully push it into the slot.
