Contact shortcut on to the homepage of Galaxy Samsung 6 - not edge?
How do I create a shortcut from my contact list onto my homepage on my Samsung 6?
You can use a third-party widget or application to place your favorite contacts to your home screens. You can try Favorite Contacts Widget Free, Shortcut Dial Pro, Direct Call Widget 1, Direct Call Widget 2, etc.
I am trying to restore my contacts that I deleted in error. I had a few with the picture on the home screen. Read the directions on this site, but I don't have the feature it says to use to move the contacts to home display?

For your deleted contacts, go to Google Contacts on the PC. As long as you synced your Google Account recently, then you can choose an option to revert to that sync. Then to put these contacts on the Home Screen:
- 1Press and hold in any space where you want to assign a contact on the Home Screen.
- 2Contact will be one of the options.Choose the Widgets option at the bottom of the screen when it appears.
- 3You can choose a contact's entire info or just the phone number using Direct Dial.
Create favorites for some contacts?
Well, it's for just an S6, not the edge, can you help?. I have tried: Everything. I think it was caused by: I accidentally deleted a whole page with info on it
You can make a contact as a favorite by clicking on the contact card and then tapping the star at the top. This sets your favorites on the device. You can also set them up within Google Contacts on the PC. Sync your phone to Google, and the favorites will update.
Hi, my Galaxy x6 does not have the option to "add to home screen" listed under more when in a contact?
This phone used to have that option but only lists, delete, manage linked contacts, mark as default and share contact as options.
You have to now add directly from the Home Screen through the Widgets option.
