In another tutorial, we discussed how to build buildings in a position where they will be most helpful to you in your kingdom. When you first start the game, you are forced to put the two buildings in the starting location.

Now, there is an option to build another military troop building called a range
.
To do this, tap on the "Tips" icon one time.

You will be taken to another location on your map, and the system will suggest that you place your range here
.
The problem is that if your range is in the suggested location, then every time you want to build archers you will have to scroll all the way over to your original two buildings to manage other parts of your troop areas.

While this may not seem like a huge inconvenience, the longer time you play the game, for instance, a year, the greater the amount of time you will spend scrolling back and forth across your map

For this reason, I will choose to place my range next to the existing troop area by tapping the plot of land I'd like to use.

Make sure "Range" is selected from the list of items

Then, tap "Build" at the bottom of the screen

To complete the build, the requirements are a castle at level 3, 580 wood and 337 food
.
If these requirements are met, a green check mark will appear next to the item. If all requirements are meet, tap on "Build" in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Then, tap on the "Free" icon, and see that my range has been built

Tap the far right icon that says "Train" below it. On this screen, note that right now, I can only train 10 archers.
