Pump a Bike Tire

Welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you how to pump out or deflate a tire on a mountain bike that I used for cross country tour.


Steps

    First position the wheel so that the valve is at the bottom and is easy and accessible

    Second unscrew the lid

    Take off open the valve depending on your pump this one I will attach lift up the lid.

    Extend the pump and maintaining a good grip on the base to prevent breakage and then pump continuously.

    Stop and check the tire for hardness.

    Continue pumping until you are satisfied that the tire is fully inflated.

    Take off the pump.

    Close the valve.

    Put on the lid and back threads.
