Properly Set Up Branded Stationery for a Hotel

Hello, and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today's tutorial deals with your hotel's branded stationery. We will be discussing how it should look, how many pieces you should have of each item, where it should be placed in the guest's room, and what items you should be offering based on brand standards. We have some examples of an envelope and blank letterhead. Both of these pieces should be located in your hotel compendium, where the guest directory will also be found.

Steps

    Brand the envelope with the hotel logo. The logo should be placed either in the upper left-hand corner, where the return address information will be placed, or in the lower right-hand corner.

    Leave the center of the envelope blank. This is for the recipient's address.

    The upper right-hand corner is left blank for postage.

    Brand the blank letterhead with the hotel logo. Place the logo either in the upper center, in the upper right-hand corner, or in the lower right-hand corner. The placement of the logo should be similar for each of the pieces. Base the logo placement on the standards required by the hotel brand.

    Place stationery in the guest compendium. The standard is usually to place two or three pieces of each item. In the guest compendium, if we open it up, we may find two envelopes and two pieces of blank letterhead.

    Place other related items. We may place a notepad next to the telephone. It will also have the hotel logo, and it will be lined. We should include a branded hotel pen. We have an example, which features the hotel's name and logo. This is an example of a typical ink pen that we might find in a guest compendium.
