Preserve the Battery in Kaspersky Total Security

    The first thing you need to do is open Kaspersky Total Security. I have an icon for this program saved to my desktop.

    When the program opens, click the gear icon on the lower left corner of the window. Clicking the gear icon will allow you to access the "Settings" menu.

    In the "Settings" menu, click "Performance" on the left side of the window. Then, look for "Battery Saving" on the right side of the screen.

    Under the "Battery Saving" heading, click to place a checkmark in the box next to "Disable scheduled tasks while running on battery power".
