Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to post a chat using the Tumblr application on the iPhone 6.

   To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

   Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

   Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

   As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

   Find the Tumblr icon, which is blue with a white "T" inside of it, and tap it once to open the application

   .

   It will automatically take us to the dashboard which is where we will see different posts by the people we're following. This like the home page for Tumblr, and is indicated by the house icon located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

   Tap on the pencil icon that is highlighted with a lighter blue rectangle, located in the middle of the screen at the bottom

   Type in a title for the post

   Tap on the space below the title to add a chat

   We can see a template showing us how to format the message. In this example, I am pasting a message I've copied.

   Tap on the small tag icon to add tags to the post

    When we begin to type in a tag, it will add different tags onto our post, and we can add as many as we like

    When we type it will start to search for other related tags. For example, typing in "words" brings up "#words of wisdom".

    We also have the option to change the posts settings by tapping on the gear shaped icon located in the top-right corner of the screen

    Tap on the preferred option

    We can choose "Post now", "Add to queue", "Save as draft", "Post privately", or "Schedule". The check mark on the right side will move to indicate the selected option.
