Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to make your post available only to friends on Facebook on an HTC One M8.

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone
    .
    Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

    Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

    We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

    There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

    Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Facebook application
    .
    There is a Facebook icon, which is a blue background with a white "f" inside, and underneath it says the word "Facebook". We want to demonstrate how to make posts available only to friends in Facebook. This will be the default option. If we haven't changed anything, then normally our posts will be shown to only friends. If something has been changed, then we may need to change it back.

    Press down on "What's on your mind?" at the top

    This will allow us to begin a post.

    Tap on the "To:" section, which, in this example, says "Public" with an icon of an earth in blue

    Right now, our posts are public and they will be shown to everybody on and off Facebook. Everyone can see it.

    Tap on "Friends"
    .
    Underneath it says, "Your friends on Facebook". The blue circle will move to that option and it will say "Friends" at the top in blue. This means that our posts will only be visible to our friends on Facebook. That gives us a lot more security and privacy, and allows us to control who sees our data.

    Press the back arrow in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen to go back to the post where it will now say "Friends" at the top
