Play in the Arena on Hearthstone Heroes of Warcraft on iPhone 6

Welcome to VisiHow. Today, we are going to be showing you how you can enter and play in the arena in the Hearthstone: Heroes of World of Warcraft game on your iPhone 6.
Steps
- 1If you don't have it open already, you're going to need to press the Home button, which is the center button at the bottom of your phone. Find the Hearthstone icon, and tap it to enter the game.To get started, you will need to have the game open.
- 2Then you'll need to go down to the bottom and tap on The Arena.
- 3I have already paid the entry fee on my other account, but since this is my tutorial account, I have not played in the arena yet.A message will appear explaining that the Arena normally requires an entry fee, but since it's our first time here, it's on the house.
- 4The first thing we need to do is choose a hero.Let's get started chopping up monsters.
- 5Only one of our heroes has a custom deck, and I happen to know it's the Warrior, so we'll choose that one.
- 6To confirm our selection, we need to tap Choose.After tapping on our selected hero, he will come in closer and show a little more information.
- 7Now, we're going to pick a card to add our deck.
- 8It gives me +5 attack. Angry chicken, better watch out for those angry chickens. Alternatively, I could choose the second card. When using that, when I cast a spell, I will get a Violet Apprentice. I don't cast spells, so we're not going to do that. The third card would allow me to deal one damage to all minions, and if I have 12 or less health, I would deal 3 damage instead.The first card that appears is the Enrage card.
- 9So let's choose that card.The third card is not too bad because by the time you have 12 health points or less, your opponent is realistically going to have three or four minions floating around, and you're going to really wish that you could do something to them without using all of your magic stuff.
- 10We're going to get some more cards.The dwarf says keep it up.
- 11Well, casting a spell is using your armor ability. However, by the time you're up in the 6 range, you're probably not doing that. The middle card states, Whenever a friendly minion takes damage, gain one Armor. That is a nice card. The card on the left is Deal 2 damage to ALL characters. I like the card in the middle.Looking at the next set of cards from the right, the first one says Whenever you cast a spell, draw a card.
- 12I am going to go ahead and do that quickly, so we can move on. It's important to have some low powered cards because if you don't have low powered cards, you will end up in a position where you wish that you had low powered cards because there is nothing else you can do. Also, any time a card costs 0, generally speaking, take it. You will wish that you had it whenever you get to play that.We have to finish selecting all of our cards.
- 13I think this is kind of cool. Now, that I'm getting closer to the end, I'm stacking my deck with lower level cards. The reason I am doing that is it allows me to boost up the ability of me to stack cards. I can put out three or four cards at a time if I get the right set of cards that pop out. Hopefully, I will end up getting the right set of cards.For this particular deck, I'm choosing special cards that I don't normally otherwise have access to.
- 14Now, I get to challenge another arena player, so let's go.
- 15Tap on Play in the lower right corner of the screen to move on.
- 16Let's see How do I against someone else. As a general rule of thumb, most of the people out there playing this game are fairly experienced. It can take a minute for the process of searching for an opponent to finish.Now, it is finding an opponent for me.
- 17This should be interesting. Apparently my soul should be his, so we'll see.Looks like we have Warlock as our opponent.
- 18I'm going to get rid of my 4.I have a 2, a 2, and a 4.
- 19I'm hoping to get a 1.Then I'm going to tap Confirm.
- 20That's okay because it's a better 4 card than the other one was.Well, it's another 4.
- 21Despite my best efforts, I do not have access to a 1 or 0 card, which were in my deck. I have to tap on end turn.There's nothing I can do right now because I don't have a 1 card.
- 22Looks like he's going to play the manna card.My opponent has the option to play a 1 card or play the manna card.
- 23Let's see what he does. He put up a card to protect himself. That was his first play.He's going to do something with the 2.
- 24So I'll tap on that. Now, I can play that 2, or I can give myself 2 armor, which will protect me from what I assume will be his attack.Now, I will have the option to play, well, the only card that I have, which is my 2.
- 25I'm going to go ahead and play the War Axe card just because I don't want to have to deal with his thing in my face.
- 26Now, I'm going to tap on end turn.
- 27He put another target dummy up.He's going to pick his cards and play them.
- 28He's trying quite hard to protect himself, and he's probably going to succeed at doing a reasonably good job of that.Then he put another taunt card up.
- 29It will get rid of his target dummy card.Here is a card that deals 2 damage to random enemies.
- 30Now, I can attack again and get rid of the other one.
- 31Hopefully, one of my 0 cards or one of my low 1 cards will come out soon, so I can do something other than bounce around him. Now, I'm in a position where I want get rid of a card before he's able to use it to start restoring health to himself. So what do I have? Deal 1 damage to all minions? No, I'll not be using that.So far, I'm missing 3 health, and he has nothing standing in between himself and my guy.
- 32Give your other minions Windfury, Taunt, and Divine Shield. No because they're not ready.This one is Battlecry:
- 33Axe Flinger, deal 2 damage to the enemy hero.
- 34Defender of Argus, no.
- 35I like this one, so let's use it.Kor'kron Elite with Charge.
- 36It could go now. Let's kill it.It has a 4 attack.
- 37That prevents him from being able to use the ability of that card. My goal at this point is to simply unseating this guy and making sure that I am able to successfully play without being destroyed, not that it isn't going to happen because a properly played Warlock is actually a powerful character. Let's see what he decides to play out of his deck of four. He played a monster that has more health than I can currently defeat.Now, it's gone.
- 38The only choice I have is to play one of my 4 cards because I don't have enough health. Let's do this.Now, I have the ability to play one of the cards I have at the bottom.
- 39I will end my turn because there's nothing else I can do.Now, this guy has taunt, which will force him to attack it.
- 40Now, he's going to attack that guy, which will destroy him.This is why, as you saw when I was picking through the deck, it's extremely important to stack your deck with some lower cost cards, ones, twos, and whatever else.
- 41He's also going to attack this guy, which will also destroy him and leave us basically back where we were.
- 42I have six cards. I can play a 4 and a 2, which is probably what I'm going to do. I'll play this 4.Now, what do we have?
- 43Let's play this one. That's all I can do this turn, so we'll end our turn.Now, I'll play a 2.
- 44Let's go ahead and continue. We're not too far into this tutorial that I would deny you the joy of seeing me get chopped to pieces by another guy. Now, my health is at 22. Here's my Lord of the Arena card, a very powerful card.Now, he's going to play one of the cards that he has, and this is going to continue on.
- 45I'm going to attack this guy a few times, and I'm going to try and knock him down into my area.
- 46This card was Anytime it takes damage, deal 2 damage to the enemy hero.
- 47I wasn't paying attention. More than anything else, that is what will cause you to lose in this game.In theory, what I should have done was attack this guy because I still would have had health, and I still would have done the 2 damage that I already did to him.
- 48He's going to shoot me with 4 damage.
- 49Then he is going to attack me with one of his cards probably.
- 50He wasn't paying attention either, or he would have tried to kill this card with one of his minions. However, he did not.Now, here's the problem.
- 51I could have played a different combo, but there's a reason I didn't.Now, I have this guy who's going to give all my other minions +1, which is extremely powerful.
- 52Whenever a friendly minion takes damage, gain 1 Armor. That's exactly what I want to do.Let's see what this card has.
- 53Because I take damage, I'm going to get 1 Armor.I'm going to attack with 3, which is going to be enough to kill this 3 card, and it's going to deal 2 damage to him.
- 54First is the attack. It kills that guy.Watch.
- 55I got that on my guy.Now, my friendly minion took damage, so I'm supposed to get 1 Armor.
- 56I did 2 damage to him, and I killed his minion. I also increased the attack of my character guy, so when he tries to attack me, it hurts him more. Every time he attacks one of my guys, I'm going to get that same benefit back of having some more armor. Now, what I need to look at is this. Any time this minion takes damage, summon a 1/1 imp. When I attack I need to kill that immediately. It has 4 health, so I need to attack it with something that has 4.Now, I have 3 Armor.
- 57That one requires people to attack me, which s fantastic, so let's pull it out.Shieldbearer is a 0 card that has taunt.
- 58Let's play this one, Axe Flinger.Now, I have the option to play two more 4 cards.
- 59Let's also play this 4.
- 60I have Windfury on a couple of cards, and realistically this is probably the part where he is going to die.This is the part where it gets interesting because now, all of my cards have some crazy stuff going on.
- 61I will attack this guy with his attack.
- 62He's dead. I got some more armor and more attack on guys. Now, I'm going to attack the other.Now, I'm still alive.
- 63I have to move quickly because I'm being timed.
- 64Now, he only has two cards left. That's a bit of a problem for him. I have a taunt card played, and I have a card with divine stuff played. Therefore, he can't easily kill all of my guys. Now, he's drawing cards and taking damage.I barely had enough time on that turn courtesy of explaining how the game works, but that's fine.
- 65He says, "Well played." He may go ahead and blow himself up.He's trying to do what he can to save himself.
- 66I want to put this guy out.
- 67I guess there's really no reason not to play this card.
- 68I just made a bit of a mistake.
- 69Let's see, whenever this minion takes damage, deal 2 damage to the enemy hero, so now what I want to do is attack this guy and kill it.
- 70This will also do 2 damage to the enemy hero.
- 71Now, I want to attack the enemy hero with this guy too.
- 72He's still down pretty low, and I can attack him again because I still have the Windfury thing going on.
- 73Now, I will end my turn.
- 74Now, he's doing the thing which Warlocks can do, damaging himself and taking cards. He can only do that once each time.It was unfortunate that I played that card without paying attention because I could have killed him and simply finished off the game.
- 75I don't really want to use that.Now, I have another card, Deal 1 damage to All minions.
- 76What I want to do is kill this guy, and I'm very close to accomplishing that.
- 77We'll attack him with this one also.
- 78I'll go ahead and give myself some more armor.
- 79Then I'll attack one more time.
- 80I'm going to tap end turn.Now, there's basically nothing he can do.
- 81He probably can't use his ability without killing himself. He can try and kill some of my cards, as he just did.I have 15 armor plus my 22 health, and he has very little he can do.
- 82He got rid of that card.He can try and play some other stuff.
- 83Now, it's going to throw an ax and kill him because every time you damage the card, it kills you.
- 84He did the same thing I did and said, oops, I made a mistake.
- 85Not a bad showing at all.Anyway, congratulations we rocked the house.
- 86How cool is that. Our prize key is up to 1.With every win you update your prize key.
