Play Aralon Sword and Shadow for iPhone 6

You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we're going to show you how to get started with the Aralon Sword and Shadow game on the iPhone 6.
Steps
- 1To find out where to get the game and how to launch it, please view our other tutorial on how to download and install Aralon Sword and Shadow for the iPhone 6.When we first launch the game, we'll be taken to the main launch window.
- 2Once the game is downloaded, installed, and launched, we will see the main window, where we want to tap on "New Game".
- 3However, since I have previously played, I have the option to "Continue" or "Load Game".
- 4For this demonstration, we'll go ahead and tap on "New Game".
- 5Remember that this will overwrite and delete an existing game, so proceed with caution.Now, we'll get a message about overwriting our old game, which we do want to do, so we'll tap on "OK".
- 6"Casual" is easy. "Normal" is something that those who are familiar with this type of game will do okay with. "Hard" is quite difficult. We will die a lot if we choose this level, unless we really know what we're doing.Upon starting a new game, the first thing we need to do is choose a difficulty.
- 7On our demonstration, we will choose "Casual", which is the top option.
- 8Then at the bottom right corner, we're going to tap on "Next".
- 9Each race has different abilities and options we can choose from.After this we'll be given the opportunity to choose between humans, elves and trolls.
- 10Choose either "Human", "Elf", or "Troll". In this case we'll go with the default, "Human".In order to view what a race has, simply select it from the list on the left side.
- 11Now, tap on "Next" at the bottom right-hand corner.
- 12This actually makes no difference in the game in terms of abilities. It is simply an aesthetic choice.Then we'll be given a choice between "Male" and "Female".
- 13Let's tap on "Next" again once we've chosen.
- 14These options are a "Warrior", a "Paladin", a "Rogue", a "Ranger" or a "Mage". Each race has different classes they can choose from. For example, trolls cannot be mages.Now, we are given the option to choose a "Class".
- 15When we've chose the class we'd like to be, then we're going to tap on "Next" in the bottom right corner.
- 16We can choose a "Hair Color", "Hair Style", and "Face".We will now have the option to choose how we would like our character to look.
- 17Moving a finger across the screen allows us to turn the character.
- 18This gives us a closer view, and we're still able to turn the character by sliding back and forth on the screen with a finger.To zoom in, simply tap on "Zoom" at the upper right corner.
- 19Tap on "Next" at the bottom right corner when happy with any selections made.
- 20Now, we'll be given the option to choose a name by tapping on the "Player" button.
- 21This will bring up a keyboard, and we can type in a new name if desired.
- 22Tap on "Done" at the top of the keyboard.
- 23Now, this player's life will begin.Tap on "Finish" at the bottom right corner.
- 24We will "Skip" them by pressing that button in the right corner, since they are not relevant to this tutorial.There will be some intro movies.
- 25Next, there will be an intro scene, where our character will be sitting at the table.
- 26He's suffering from a grave wound. We'll go ahead and zip through this.The character's friend will be sitting on the other side of the room.
- 27We can read each message if we choose or simply tap on the screen to move quickly through the scene and skip past the dialogue.
- 28Then we'll be given a quick game tutorial.
- 29We'll just press the "Close" button a number of times until the tutorial goes away.
- 30This means we need to speak to him.Following the tutorial, we'll see a circle of light moving around the other person.
- 31In this case, it worked, but sometimes it might not.We can try pressing on the Hand option at the bottom right.
- 32We'll want to tap on "Take All".
- 33Next, we'll want to use the icon on the left side to navigate over to the little bag.
- 34Tap on "Close" for any pop-up Windows that may appear.
- 35Then tap on the Hand icon again to open the pack.
- 36Again, tap on "Take All".
- 37Then we're going to use the left icon to run over to the corner chest.
- 38Tap on the Hand icon to open our pack.
- 39Tap "Take All" to take everything from that corner chest.
- 40Now, we'll use the left icon to move toward the door.
- 41The tutorial Windows will pop up here and there throughout the game every time the game thinks we are doing something we don't know how to do.Again, tap "Close".
- 42This will take us out into the world of the game.Tap on the Hand icon to open the door.
- 43In order to equip any of the things we just obtained from our house, we can tap on the backpack icon in the top left-hand corner.
- 44Now, we can see that we have several things.
- 45We're not currently wearing boots, so we'll tap on those.For example, we just picked up some boots.
- 46They have a "Defense" value of "3".This will bring up some information about them.
- 47Now, we are wearing boots.Tap on "Equip" at the top of the information window.
- 48To read something, such as the note that we have, we can tap on that image.
- 49Then tap "Read".
- 50This note has three pages.
- 51Tap on "Page 1" to open that page.
- 52After reading the first page, we can tap on "Page 2" and so on until we read the entire letter if desired.
- 53When we're finished reading the note, tap on "Done" button at the top left corner.
- 54To view details and information about our character, we can tap on the "Stats" option at the top of the screen.
- 55When we level up, we'll increase our stats based on "Points To Spend".
- 56We can increase our skills, allowing us to choose different things.Tap on "Skills", the second option at the top after "Stats", to bring up a skill tree.
- 57Tap on "Quest" to see what we should do next.
- 58This tells where we are, where we've been, and where we can go.We can tap on "Map" to view that.
- 59Tapping on "Craft" shows us things we can craft as we move on.Press on the screen and drag to move the map around if desired.
- 60The "Achieve" option is an archive of things we have achieved.
- 61The "Menu" is where we may save the game, as well as change options and settings.
- 62This is where we can buy things if we would like.Of course we have the shop, which is the far right option.
- 63In order to "Buy Karma", we can tap on that.
- 64Since I have beaten this game, I can tell you it is possible to beat the game without using any real world money.This will load up the store, where we can buy Karma with real world money.
- 65Press the back arrow at the top left-hand corner to exit the Backpack when done.

- 1This will bring up the lock screen.To begin, press the home button in the bottom center of the phone one time.
- 2This will take us to the home screen.Swipe across the screen to enter the passcode area, or just use the Touch ID and press a finger against the home button.
- 3It's a blue icon with a white letter 'A' inside of it. It reads "App Store" underneath. Press that to launch the App Store.On the home screen, we're looking for the App Store icon.
- 4It's the second option from the left. This will bring us to the search menu where we'll see a list of trending searches.We want to tap on the "Search" option at the bottom of the phone.
- 5In this example, it has shown up as the second option, so we'll tap that.We are going to tap on the search bar at the top and type in "aral" and see what comes up.
- 6It's called "Aralon: Sword and Shadow". This is a fantastic game and it has very good graphics.Tap on the game to see the information page.
- 7It has good reviews.We can also see the reviews by tapping on "Reviews".
- 8There are 9000+ very high ratings for the game, giving it a total of 4.5 stars.Tap on "All Versions" to get a better idea.
- 9We'll tap back on "Details" to view some more details.We can tap on "Related" as well, to see any related games.
- 10In this example, it reads "OPEN". Your button may read "GET", "INSTALL", or it may be a cloud with a down arrow. This game is only for people 12 and older because it has mature themes and mature content. This will start the download procedure and automatically install. Once the installation procedure is complete, we can move on to the next part on how to get started.When we're ready to download and install the game, we're going to tap on the icon on the right-hand side.
