You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to download and install Angry Birds Epic for the iPhone 6.
Steps
- 1It takes us to the lock screen.Get started with a single press on the home button of the iPhone.
- 2Swipe or slide across.
- 3This will unlock the phone and take us to the home screen.Enter in a PIN or passcode or hold a finger or thumb on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
- 4It says "App Store". When we find the App Store icon, give one press. We will be taken to the App Store. The App Store has a list of great, fun and amazing applications, but what we need to do is search.Look for the blue icon with the white letter "A" in it.
- 5Its icon is a little magnifying glass. One press on "Search" will take us to the "Trending Searches". We do not need to use any of these.Tap on "Search" on the bottom right-hand side.
- 6Tap in the upper area of the screen, on the search bar.
- 7We don't see Angry Birds suggested. Let's type "epic angry birds" and press the blue "Search" button in the bottom right corner of the screen. The search results return "Angry Birds Epic" as the first option. Perhaps, had we typed it the other way, it may have come up faster. Depending on what we're looking for and how we're trying to get there, sometimes we do need to apply different types of searches to the App Store. Now we've done this, we're in the App Store, we've searched for Angry Birds Epic.From the search bar, we are going to type in "epic" first just to see what comes up.
- 8Tap on "Angry Birds Epic".
- 9We'll see that Angry Birds Epic is by "Rovio Entertainment Ltd". There's an "App Store Editors' Notes" section, and we can scroll down and see some images. It's a fun little game, with lots of new updates, including player versus player (PVP). Then we have other details on the game.Review the app information page.
- 10It is the middle box beneath the page header, between "Details", which we were just reading, and "Related". It has an overwhelmingly positive review score.Tap "Reviews" to see the reviews.
- 11We'll see that there are more than 50,000 positive reviews.Tap "All Versions".
- 12Many of these are the other Angry Birds, like "Go!", "Transformers", "Star Wars II" and others, which we do have tutorials on as well.Tap "Related" and see the related games.
- 13Tap on "Details" to go back to the main area.
- 14The button may read "GET". The button may read "OPEN". The button may read "INSTALL". There may be a little cloud icon instead of a button. It all depends on exactly where we are with the phone and the download process and our iCloud account, which should be linked to our phone. For our purposes, we've already downloaded the application, so we've got the "OPEN" button. Tap on "OPEN" if it's there, which will launch the game. Tap to download and install if not. This will launch the application. It will download it automatically to our phone. We'll have to enter a password or PIN to continue and then it will be installed and we will be able to start playing Angry Birds Epic.
