Password Protect Telegram Chats on iPhone 6
Edited by Kara, Zack, Eng
Hello, you are watching VisiHow. In this video, I will teach you how to password protect your chats on Telegram while using an iPhone 6.
- 10Let's just close the phone and the app, and see. We'll give it one minute. As you may know, Telegram positions itself as the world's safest messenger. It does not save your messages on intermediary services, so nobody will be able to track your messages or gain access to them. They've also put in security options so that if someone gets access to your phone they will be unable to access your messages once you've set up the pass-code lock.
- 11We can set up a timer so that we'll be sure we've waited for one minute. In exactly one minute, we'll be back on Telegram to see how the pass-code lock actually works. In case you have some private information you want to share with your contacts or with one person, you should probably pick Telegram messenger for it because it's the only messenger that will give you that kind of high quality protection and privacy. Again, it doesn't just stop others from accessing your current conversations, but it will also prevent someone in between from catching your messages.
- 12Let's go back to Telegram, and now it'll ask us for our pass-code. Let's see what happens if you type in the wrong pass-code. It tells me that I've got one failed pass-code attempt. If you make more mistakes, you may not be able to access your account anymore. You'd have to reinstall the whole application, after which you'd lose all of your previous chats. So let's enter the pass-code: 1234. Now we have access to the chats.
- 22I just showed you how to password protect your chats on Telegram, and also how to turn the pass-code off or how to have a complicated pass-code. Thank you for watching VisiHow and if you have any more additional questions on how Telegram operates on privacy and security, or any other questions you might have, please write them down in the section below. I will be happy to help you. Thank you for watching VisiHow and goodbye!
