Hello, welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to open a new tab in the Internet Explorer application, on a Microsoft Lumia 535.

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button

This button is located on the right side of the device.

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the Lock screen

To unlocked the phone, press down on the screen and swipe the Lock screen upwards

We will now be brought to the Home screen, where we need to find the Internet Explorer tile

We can see that the tile is blue, with a white Internet Explorer icon in the center. This icon is an "e", with a circle around it.

Press down on this icon, this will open up the Internet Explorer application

To open a new tab, we need to tap the icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen
.
We can see that there is a white circle, inside there are two white pieces of paper.

This will bring up a new options screen for us, titled "TABS" in the top left-hand corner

To open another tab, press on the "+" sign, located at the bottom center of the screen

This "+" will be white, surrounded by a white outline of a circle.

We can now see that we have opened up a new tab

This has taken us straight into this tab.

Press down on the icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen another time

We can see that the new tab is now present, located to the right of our previously opened tab

We can open as many tabs as we like, opening them as we need. This will help us to navigate through Internet Explorer and the internet more efficiently, without having to close every website we visit to view a new one.
