- 4It's the orange one with the white pen. Tap once to open up the app. It will automatically take us to our document if we have one open already, or it might ask us to open a new document. We show how to open a new document in Pages in another video. For now, we're already on a blank template. A different document might look a little bit different, depending on the format of the document selected. No matter what the document looks like, there will be options in the top right-hand corner.Find the Pages icon.

- 6It's the option at the bottom. It will ask us exactly which format we want. We usually go for the "PDF" one here because it's the most adaptable. However, if we have "Pages" or "Word" formats, which are more specific but good for editing depending on what other applications are being used, then they'll open as well. PDF will generally be the easiest one if we want to open, but not edit, it elsewhere.Press "Open in Another App".
