I would like to thank The Domestic Geek for the awesome video on 3 One-Pot Pasta Recipes | Easy Weeknight Dinners. I organized it into a wiki for anyone with a hearing impairment, or for those who just prefer to read the steps. Hope you enjoy it.
Hi, guys, all month long we are going to be sharing easy weeknight dinner ideas that can all be made in a single dish because who needs more dishes in our life?
Today, it is all about one-pot pasta. One-pot pasta has taken the internet by storm. We are not going to take credit for the idea. It is not our idea but we are very excited to share it with you if you haven't already seen it.
Today, we are going to show you the classic one-pot pasta, a glorious one-pot linguine that is loaded with beautiful green vegetables, and finally, a chili cheese one-pot pasta that you are going to want to stick around for. Trust us on this one.
The milk is going to help make the recipe really deliciously creamy. If you want to make it more decadent, you could swap out the milk for some cream. Trust us that it would be amazing but a that's a little more on the indulgence side.
All that we are going to do is toss all of this together, put on the lid and reduce the heat to medium-low
.
We are going to let is simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until the veggies and the pasta are cooked through. Be sure to stir it at least every 2 or 3 minutes though because it loves to sit in the bottom of the pot. Trust us on this one. We are trying to make it as easier- not harder.
We've got some chili powder, some ground cumin, and some garlic powder. We would like to toss up our spices for 30 seconds to a minute to really bring those flavors out really well. The house starts to smell really good.
Then we are going to bring the mixture to a boil, put the lid on our pot, then turn the heat to medium-low and let it simmer away for another 20 minutes
We really hope you'll give these tasty recipes a try and if you do, be sure to tweet or Instagram us a photo because we love seeing what you're coming up with on your very own kitchens
.
If you haven't already, be sure to subscribe because there's a lot more deliciousness where this came from.
