Need help getting past the touch assistance in the home button?

When I get to o Google home button and press it it doesn't bring me back to Google and it just tells me complete setup to continue so I don't know what else to do. When I press it the home but I press a little man in a circle and then the bank pops up and press the home button like it tells me to do it hold it down they don't bring me the way it just said please set up to finish. I have tried: What tell me to do I don't know what else to do please help me. I think it was caused by: I no I was doing everything it says to do that's why I'm reaching out to you
