Hello and welcome the VisiHow. In this video I am going to show you how to navigate the LCD status screen on GoPro Hero3 black edition camera.

Steps

    The first thing we are going to do is to turn the camera ON by the button here under the status screen
    .

    Press the button and Hold it till the red light flashes, and it does emit a noise if you have that settings turned ON

    As you can see, we have a status screen; on which we have a number of options

    When we turn it ON you will be automatically taken to the photo function (the photo menu)

    At the top left we can see there is a camera and next to it a letter W for wild angle, underneath that we have Mega pixel 12 MP, and 00 is the counter of how many photos you have taken, underneath that we have the total photos available
    .
    We have also the amount of the battery left of the battery life.

    For photo menu, we press on the Mode button again; it takes us to the Burst settings
    .
    This is where you can take a number of lot photos very quickly in order to capture action or to capture sports or things you use it very quickly.

    Here you can see the options of the same apart if the one on the right

    We have the Frames per Second (FPS).

    Press the Mode button again, takes us to the Time Lap setting, And this it take a Long Exposure photos
    .
    You can see on the right side we have five second so it is going to take a photo every 5 seconds, we use it when we are taking Long Exposure shoots.

    Press on the mode button again, and we go to the Settings
    .
    There we have the Settings Menu.

    If we press on the Shutter button to select, we can see this

    Select the EXIT and go out

    In this menu you can see on the top that there is a resolution at the top and the Frame per Second

    Right at the bottom we have the amount of time you have left according to the space on your SD card

    If you have a back LCD, touch back pack attached, You will also be able to view the playback menu, or if your camera is attached and connected to your Television in this menu you will be able to find the playback option, and use that

    Finally, to turn the camera OFF, we can press on the Mode button and the red light will come on
