Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to navigate using the Google Earth application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone
.
2
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen
.
3
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
4
Once at the home screen, find the Google Earth icon which is dark blue with a striped blue and white circle in the center and tap on it once to open the application
.
5
Tap on the three horizontal lines icon in the top-left corner to open a new menu
.
It should take us to an image of Earth.
6
Rotate the earth in any direction by swiping with one finger in any direction
.
7
Zoom in by using two fingers, and swiping them in opposite directions
.
8
Zoom out by using two fingers, and swiping them towards one another
.
9
Rotate the screen by using two fingers to rotate in a circle, leaving one stationary and moving the other one
.
10
Tilt the screen by using two fingers and dragging in the same direction
.
11
To reset the view, tap on the compass icon in the top-right corner, which looks like a small black circle with a red and white arrow inside
.
Tapping this will bring us to an aerial view of the location we're at on the map.
12
Tap and swipe two fingers toward one another to zoom all the way out, and go back to the view where we began
.
13
Now you know how to navigate using the Google Earth application on the iPhone 6
