My HP 15 suddenly went off while on use, and couldn't come on again, what can I do
There can be many causes to that. Let us review some of those.
- No charge in the laptop. Charge your HP 15 by plugging it into a functional wall outlet.
- Accumulated current in the battery. Remove the battery and press and hold the power button for about 1 minute. Connect the laptop to a charger. Remove all of the USB devices and turn the laptop on.
- Dust causing overheating. Blow dust out of your laptop by using a can of compressed air on the keyboard and on the bottom surface of the laptop.
- Damaged internal components. Send the laptop to a Hewlett-Packard service center.

I'm using an HP 250 G1. I took out the HDD (Seagate 500GB) & used it on a friend's laptop & it was working. I took his HDD & the screen message was "boot device not found". Please help. I have tried: Trying to use a different HDD to see if it can read. I think it was caused by: Upgrading to Windows 10

Started crashing like this all the sudden on Friday night while playing WOW. I have had problems with it crashing over the last year but only 1-2 times a week while playing. Now it crashes shortly after startup.

Screen goes blank after a short time ranging from a few minutes to a couple of hours!
First time screen went blank right after playing a game. Went away a couple of days, now happens anytime from boot up to 2-3 hours at most. All temps reported good. Was thinking video card, checked re seated heat sink, changed power cable to card, changed PCI slot, changed power supply. Moved memory. Goes blank in Windows 7 & 10 and when in BIOS/CMOS screen. Hard drive read/write goes out - tried 2nd hard drive - same results. Thinking Motherboard since HD lights go out when screen goes blank. M5A99fx pro 2. with 6 months warranty left. Don't want to send good parts without being sure. Well I always get a good post beep. Sometimes boots sometimes doesn't. Got it working for up to a few hours - so not completely dead yet, but not reliable enough to do anything more than browsing. Doesn't act like anything I've seen prior and I've lost video cards, CPU's, mother boards, drives, memory, externals etc. I have tried: Answered prior. The only thing I have not tried is another video card, because seems every old one I have doesn't fit they must be AGP or something. I think it was caused by: A cap or something going out, but I don't see anything obvious. Something is intermittently failing on the video or motherboard.
