Hard reset your Samsung Galaxy Grand

My Samsung Galaxy is getting very slow to restart more than 15 minutes then it sometimes stuck for a while to do some actions?

I can not get the blue screen when pressing on the three buttons ( home, power and volume up). what is the problem and what I can do?

Make sure that you are holding the power, volume up and home all at the same time for at least 20 seconds. If this did not work, pull the battery for a bit and try again to hard reset after putting the battery back in. One of the issues may be a sticky power button which many users have reported with the Samsung Galaxy and you may have to firmly hold the power button during the hard reset.

Recently I had encrypted my phone and the Galaxy forced me to use a password for my lock screen, which is fine; I wouldn't expect it to allow any less secure method, but I have since decrypted the device and still find myself unable to change my lock screen preferences. When I go into Settings>Security>Screen Lock I am prompted to confirm my password and then I am presented with the alternative screen lock options. The problem is that everything is greyed out except for the Password option. Every other screen lock method is greyed and says 'Disabled by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage' and I can't select anything?
