Mute and Unmute Games in Play Games Application on HTC One M8

Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to mute and unmute a game in the Play Games application on an HTC One M8.
Steps
- 1To begin, turn the phone On by pressing the power button located on top of the phone.
- 2Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen; to unlock the screen, swipe the screen upwards.
- 3It is one of these icons that we now need to access as we need to open up the applications folder.Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen and at the bottom, we will see these icons.
- 4The icon is a grid of white dots.To open the applications folder, we need to press the icon located in the bottom center of the home screen.
- 5Mine is located here. We can see that there is an icon which looks like a green controller and underneath, it says "Play Games". Your Play Games application may be in a different position in this folder. Therefore, you will need to find it and press down on it to enter the application. What we want to do in this video tutorial is show you how to mute and unmute a game in this application. What this means is that if we mute a game, we will not receive any notifications from it. We don't want to turn Off notifications for all the games because then we may miss notifications that we need. This allows us to keep particular games silent so that we can continue receiving notifications from other games.In the applications folder, we need to find the Play Games application.
- 6We have one here called "Warlings" and we can press down on it. We don't need to enter the game but we just need to enter the game area in the Play Games application.To mute a game, we want to select a game that we have already downloaded and installed.
- 7The icon looks like three white dots in a vertical line.Press down on this icon in the top right-hand corner.
- 8We only have one option to choose which is "Mute" so we can press down on this option to mute the game.
- 9It says, "Game Warlings has been muted".
- 10If we press down on the dots again, we have the option to "Unmute" the game.
- 11We are going to go back by pressing the back arrow which is the white arrow in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
- 12The icon has three white horizontal lines and it will open a new menu.Now we are going to press this icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
- 13In the new menu, we want to tap the "Settings" option.
- 14We also have the name of the game we just muted which is "Warlings". This is how we can find all of our muted games if we have muted a lot.We can scroll down in the settings to find a section called "MUTED GAMES".
- 15We can also unmute games from this location by pressing down on the game until a text box shows up.
- 16It will say "Let Warlings send game requests and notifications." and we can press "UNMUTE" to unmute the game.
- 17We can see that the game has been unmuted and has disappeared from this list.
