    In order to move the position of an application on the iPad Air 2, you need to unlock application icons
    .
    This can be done simply by tapping and holding an application. At this point, all of the other applications will begin to shake and move.

    Then, you may tap and drag any application
    .
    You can move it wherever you want. Note that each time you move an application, all of the other applications move to accommodate to the new position of a moved application.

    When you are satisfied with where you have moved the application, simply release the icon

    This will allow you to move (adjust or arrange) application positions to your liking.

    When you've finished and you no longer want to move applications, you can simply press the home button

    This will lock the applications so that you cannot move them anymore.
