Edited by Rushell, Eng, Crystal
Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, we will show you how to move the documents from your Google Drive into another folder on Google Drive on the LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, we'll the unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side Power button
.
2
Then swipe up one time to get to the home screen
.
3
From the home screen, we need to access Google Drive, which we can find in the "Apps" menu
.
This menu can be accessed by pressing the icon in the bottom right corner of the home screen. It's a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it.
4
Tap on that icon one time to open the "Apps" menu
.
5
Then we'll scroll to the left and right until we locate the icon for Google "Drive"
.
6
The "Drive" icon is a yellow, blue and green triangular-shaped icon that says "Drive" right below it
.
Tapping on that icon one time will open the application.
7
Now, we are looking at a list of files in "My Drive"
.
8
We'll scroll down through the list to see several hospitality files, which all share the same first three letters, "SOP", in the file name
.
9
Scroll back up to the top, and we'll see a new "Folder" has been created called, "Hotel standards docs"
.
We would like to move the "SOP" files into the folder for "Hotel standards".
10
We need to tap on the far right icon in the gray bar at the top of the screen
.
It has three dots in a vertical line, and once we tap on that icon, a pop-up menu will appear.
11
We want to tap on "Select..", which is the middle option
.
This will allow us to go through and select some, but not all, of the documents. There is a "Select All" option as well, but we only want to choose some of the documents in this example.
12
We can select a document by pressing on the icon just to the left of the document name
.
This will change the icon to a blue circle with a check mark.
13
It will also display across the bottom of the screen how many "Items" we will be using
.
14
We now have "8 Items" selected
.
15
Using the icons at the bottom of the screen, we can either pin the documents by using the pin icon or download then by using the down arrow icon
.
16
Alternatively, we can press the three dots in a vertical line at the bottom right corner to access some additional options
.
17
From here we can delete the files, move them somewhere, "Star" them or send them to someone else
.
18
For this demonstration, we are going to select "Move to...", which has a folder icon with an arrow pointing to the right
.
19
Then we want to press on the folder, "Hotel standards docs", which is just at the top underneath "Folders"
.
20
This will open the folder, where we can see any current "Files" that are currently inside the folder
.
21
In order to move the documents we just selected, we want to press on the word "MOVE" that appears in blue in the bottom right-hand corner
.
22
As we tap there one time, we will be returned to "My Drive", where we'll notice that the "SOP" files have disappeared
.
23
If we open the "Folder" "Hotel standards docs" by tapping on that name one time, we can see those files have all been moved into that folder
24
To close Google Drive and return to the home screen, we can press the bottom center button one time
.
25
This concludes today's tutorial on how to move documents from you Drive into another folder on Google Drive on the LG L70
.
