You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how you can move an email message in the Gmail application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need unlock the phone by pressing the lock button
.
2
Alternatively, we press the home button
.
3
4
We can enter our passcode or just use the fingerprint scanner
.
5
We need to find and tap the Gmail icon
.
The icon is white. Tapping the icon will open up the application. As we can see, we've already logged in with one of our email accounts; so we are taken straight to the "Primary" email list.
6
What we are going to need to do is to tap one of the email messages
.
7
We tap the option in the top right-hand corner
.
This will bring up a menu.
8
We tap the "Move..." icon
.
It is located at the left-hand side. The icon has a folder and an arrow pointing right.
9
We can then select to which folder we would like to move the message
.
We can tap "Social" or "Promotions", depending on which one we prefer. We can have other folders listed as well.
10
Let's tap "Social" to move the message to "Social"
.
11
We can tap "Undo" if we want
.
12
We tap the menu icon in the top-left corner
.
13
We tap "Social" to go and check it
.
The moved email message will be in "Social".
14
If we want to, we can move it back to "Primary". In this video, it has been moved back where it was before.
This is a VisiHow video. We've just shown you how you can move an email message in the Gmail application on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them to the section below. We'll do our best to get back to you.
