Mount SD Card for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

Whether you have just purchased a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, or are simply reinserting or putting in new SD card in your old Tab, you'll need to mount the SD card in order for the Tab to see it. Mounting is what happens when you enable the system to recognize your SD card, and in this tutorial we are going to discuss how to mount the SD card. Access the Storage Menu

    Swipe down from the top of your system by holding your finger and dragging down
    .
    This will open the notification panel.

    In the notification panel, tap one time on the gear-shaped settings icon

    This is located at the top of your device screen, on the right-hand side.

    Once you have tapped on the gear-shaped settings icon, you will be taken to the settings panel.

    From the settings panel, scroll all the way down to storage.

    Once you have reached "Storage", tap on it once
    .
    You will now be taken to the storage menu.

Mount Your SD card

At the bottom of the storage section on the right-hand side of your screen, you will see the SD card area. You are looking for the option to mount the SD card.

    Tap once on 'Mount SD card'.

    After tapping on 'Mount SD card', you will see the card immediately appear
    .
    Simply tap "OK" to return to the menu or tap "GO TO MY FILES" in order to move directly to the card.

    You can now see a file menu indicating our files.
