You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show how to mount a Canon Speedlite 430EX II on top of the Canon T4i camera. The Speedlite flash is installed onto the hot shoe of the camera.

   Insert Speedlite into the hot shoe

   Once Speedlite is inserted all the way, move the mount switch from left to right

   The switch is at the base of the Speedlite. You should hear it click.

   Once the switch clicks, Speedlite is firmly installed and will not go anywhere

   To unmount Speedlite, press down on the switch and move it from right to left

   There is actually a little indentation on the switch that you can use to press the switch down while moving it.
