Monetize Your YouTube Videos

Being a YouTube partner is a great way to earn a full-time living online. As a YouTube Partner you can monetize every video you decide to upload, as long as it is advertiser friendly, all of the audio and visual video is made by you, and, you adhere to YouTube's community guidelines.
If you have a channel set up and you are already a YouTube partner, follow these easy step-by-step instructions to monetize your videos.
Log in to your YouTube channel. This is the Gmail account you had to create before becoming a YouTube Partner.
Double check in order to ensure that you signed in to your YouTube Channel account.
Once you are signed in to your channel, click on the "Upload" option in the middle of the screen.
Once you click on the upload option, you should be brought to a screen that looks like this:
Select a file to upload, then select "Open".
Once you upload your video, your screen should look like this: This means your video is being uploaded. Depending on how long your video is this can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours to complete.
Once your video is uploaded, fill in the Title box, Description box and Tag box. Think carefully about this step and keywords that will target the audience you want.
Next select the "Monetization" menu. This will be located on the same screen where you wrote the title and description for your video.
Click on the box next to "Monetize with Ads".
Once selected, choose the different ads you wish to run on your video. Advice: It is best to select more than one kind of ads, as it will increase your chance of earning revenue.
Also, to ensure that you video has been monetized, see if there is a dollar sign symbol in the top right hand corner of your screen. It should look like this:
If your video is truly monetized it should look like this:
Again, all of the videos you wish to run ads on and monetize should look like this:
Done: You have now successfully monetized your YouTube videos.
