Edited by Freya, Crystal, Jen M
Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to mark all of your messages as read on the Skype application for the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side or the big round button at the bottom of the screen called the home button
.
2
Unlock the phone by swiping right and entering the passcode
.
Alternatively, press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.
3
Once on the home screen, find the Skype icon
.
In this example, it is in the "Social" folder. The icon is light blue and white with a blue "S" in the center. Tap that once to open it up. It will either take you to the sign-up page or the recent contacts page with a list.
4
Tap the three horizontal white dots in the bottom right corner to open up the menu
.
5
The second option is "mark all as read"
.
In this example, it looks the same because all of my messages are read. If there is an unread message, it will be in a bolder blue. We would tap "mark all as read" to get rid of the notification.
