iPhone 5 is the fifth generation of Apple's very famous phone, the iPhone. The phone comes with a four-inch retina display and runs on an A6 processor chip. This is part of the VisiHow is on how to use the iPhone 5. The link to the mother VisiHow is here - Use iPhone 5
iPhone 5 allows you to transfer files from your phone to your PC, other iOS devices or to a cloud storage by using iCloud or iTunes. This VisiHow will discuss on how you can get more with your iOS devices by familiarizing and knowing how to use iCloud and iTunes.
iCloud and iTunes definition
- iCloud is a cloud storage service that stores music, photos, videos, contacts, files, calendars and other documents and pushes it to your other iOS devices and computers. This way every iOS you have are up to date with each other without doing manual updating on each and everyone of them.
- iTunes is a computer application that syncs music, photos, videos and other files between your iPhone and your computer. Any changes on one device will be applied when you sync the two devices. iTunes can also be used to check for updates for your iDevices.
iCloud and iTunes can be used interdependently depending on how you intend to use them. An example would be syncing a music file from your computer to your iPhone using the iTunes; then automatically sync the change in your iPhone to your other iDevices by using the iCloud.
Take Note
Do not sync contacts, calendars and notes through iTunes. Let iCloud do that to prevent duplication of data.
