Hi, you are watching VisiHow. In this video, I will show you how to make a homemade coffee scrub for your hands. All I need is ground coffee, extra-virgin olive oil, a bowl, and a spoon. I also have a hand cream which contains moisturizing oils which I will use afterwards.
Mix well. Once you have added the olive oil to the coffee grounds you need to stir it until the oil completely soaks into the coffee. It doesn't seem like much, but you do not want to waste our oil or our coffee. This is enough for one usage.
Apply to your hands. Scrape any of the leftover mix off of the spoon. Then, with your hands you will scoop up the mix and begin applying it to your skin. Normally, you would want to do this over the sink. That way, if it falls down, it is easier to clean up.
Rub your hands together. Rub your hands together as if you were washing them with soap. This is an inexpensive way to exfoliate your hands. You do not have to use dry coffee, you can also use leftovers from your coffee machine or after making Turkish coffee. By the way, if you would like to see how to make Turkish coffee there is a video on making Turkish coffee on VisiHow.
Keep rubbing and massaging your hands. If you spend a lot of time in the water or if you wash a lot of dishes or if you have children like I do and you have to spend a lot of time with your hands in water this is a trick for you to help keep your hands soft, nice, moisturized, and help avoid cracking or dryness. You can also use this recipe to make a body scrub. Of course, you will need to make more of it. This scrub is also multipurpose. If you have any imperfections on your hips, waist, or cellulite this scrub is good for those things. I think this is good enough.
Let's make sure we have gotten between the fingers good and the end of the fingers. If you can see I am using my thumb to rub the inside of my palm and using my forefingers to rub the outside of my hand that way I am doing two things at once. I need to wash this off now.
Apply hand cream. At this point you may want to apply some hand cream. I actually do not recognize my hands at this point because they are so soft and smooth. My hands have been really bad lately. This is a great homemade scrub as it works really well. If you do not want to buy any expensive hand scrubs or body scrubs this is a good alternative and you will be able to save money while still having perfect Princess hands. Hands that have never seen any hard work or have never actually worked.
This feels really good you should absolutely try it at home. Thank you for watching VisiHow. I just showed you how to make a home scrub using olive oil and coffee. Hi, you're watching VisiHow. My name is Kara and in this video I will teach you how to make a homemade Dawn hand scrub. It is a very simple recipe and probably anyone can do it at home as long as you have some sugar and some Dawn (or any other dish soap). In my case, I am using Fairy which is almost the same thing. I am using Fairy with jojoba oils for smooth hands. So let's get started.
You're welcome to use different proportions. You can stock in advance and make one liter, I mean a big jar full of hand scrub so that you always have it ready. I am just using a little bit because I like to experiment. So just stir it up.
This is a very effective scrub. It is quit dry. If you watched the video where I made a hand scrub using yogurt and sugar it was more liquid. It was much softer. This one is quit dry and is more effective in terms of removing dry skin.
My hands are starting to warm up so its working. Don't forget the areas around your fingers including your cuticles. This kind of scrub will soften your cuticles and you will not need to do a manicure as often as you normally do.
Thank you for watching VisiHow. If you have any questions on beauty and makeup or hair styles please leave your comments in the section below. I am going to enjoy the smoothness of my hands and apply some hand cream. Thank you and bye bye.
Hello! You are watching Visihow and in this video I will teach you how to make a home made hand scrub from the coconut oil. I will need coconut oil, lemon, sea salt, sugar, raw honey, and just a little big of coconut crumbs, for a better, for a stronger coconut smell.
This is my favourite hand scrub. Well, actually it is my second favourite scrub after the coffee scrub that you can watch judging from the results that it gets. You can watch the coffee scrub video also that I made for VisiHow. So, it's done. I mixed it all up; made sure all the coconut crumbs are mixed and the sugar and honey and salt.
Coffee scrub does a better job peeling the dead skin off - the dry skin off - your hands, but the coconut oil scrub does a really good softening your hands. Okay. It's just a matter of taste. You can make it more thick by adding more sugar and more salt and more honey, but when it comes to a coconut oil hand scrub, I prefer one that is really soft. So, it's not very thick, it's kind of buttery, but this is how I want it to be. So let's rub everywhere. The fingers are the most damaged area of your fingers normally, from all this hand washing and cleaning. So we will give special attention to the area of our fingers.
The more, or the longer you rub the scrub, the softer your hands will be. Normally enough to do them from 5 - 7 minutes. Okay. You're also welcome to let it sit for 10-15 minutes. That way, this hand scrub kind of turns into a hand mask. All the oils and all the vitamins micro-elements that are in coconut oil and in honey will serve a really good deal for you. You can apply more. It's not a very good bowl for that. So you can hold your hands like this and wash them off in 10 minutes, which I am going to do a little bit earlier.

The way you apply it is to just use your hands and rub it gently in. The Red Pepper will make blood go towards your skin. It will improve your circulation in your hands. The sugar will peel off the dead skin.
Make sure you rub it all the way in. You will feel your hands getting soft and warming up because of the red pepper, even if you are using cold yogurt or cold sour cream. Apply with a very gentle scrub. Keep scrubbing for a couple of minutes.
