Make a Hair Band Out of Your Hair
Edited by Kara, Inukshuk, Eng, Jen M
Hi, my name is Kara and you are watching the beauty department of VisiHow and in this video I will show you how to do a hair band off your own hair. What I will need to do is first I am going to pin parts of my hair that is refusing to listen, on the side like this. If you don't have this problem, then you don't have to do this.

- 4For the rubber band, you should be choosing a color that is matching your hair. In my case, I can be using black or dark brown, but black is probably better for me. This is a thin braid so it's taking a while to make it. When you're making a bigger one its 3 seconds and it's done. The longer your hair is, the better it is for you. My problem with this kind of hair style is that my hair is longer in the back and shorter in the front, so many times it would be coming off and sticking out in parts that I don't want it to. Almost there.I will need a little tiny invisible rubber band to fix the end so that it doesn't come off.

- 9If you would like to have it thicker hair band then you might want to take a bigger amount of hair in your braids. This hair style looks good on lighter color hair because you can see all the textures of the braids, and you would really appreciate the work that went into it. On black hair, it is not that visible, but still nice to have something good looking on your hair, rather than a bun or just a regular ponytail. So I am done here and I need another band to fix the end result.I am more than half way throw.
