Make Videos Fullscreen on YouTube on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Zack, Jen M
Hi, you are watching VisiHow. Today I am going to show you how you can make a video fullscreen on the 'YouTube' app on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
Start by unlocking your phone
.
Do this by clicking the 'Lock' button on the right-hand side of your phone, or the 'Home' button which is underneath the bottom-center of the screen.
2
Swipe and enter your passcode, or place your finger on the 'Home' button which doubles as a fingerprint scanner as well
.
This opens the home screen, where you just need to find the 'YouTube' icon which is red and white with a white square and red play button inside of it.
3
Simply click once on the icon to open up the app
.
This opens the "What to Watch" page which recommends videos based on everything else you have watched.
4
If the screen is placed vertically, the video will automatically play at the top of the screen.
5
To make it fullscreen, click on the actual video to bring up the options around the edge
.
In the bottom right-hand corner of the video, there is an option that looks like four crop corners.
6
Click on that option to make the video fullscreen
.
7
To go back, click the same option again
.
That will set it back to the way that it began.
8
Another way to do it is by simply turning the phone horizontally
.
Because the phone is horizontal, it automatically changes to fullscreen.
9
Scroll the video down and swipe it away to get back to the "What to Watch" page where you began
.
10
Thank you very much for watching
!
