Hi, welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to make taskbar icons smaller or bigger on Windows 7 computers.

Steps

  1. 1
    Right-click on an empty space on your taskbar, and then click 'Properties'. As we can see, at this point our taskbar icons are big. But if we want to preserve more space, we could make them smaller.

    Once the taskbar properties open, click 'Use small icons' to add a check-mark to it.

    Now click on 'OK'.

    The icons will now be smaller.
