Hi, you're watching VisiHow! This is a tutorial on how to make your own homemade scented body butter. Homemade body butter is a great alternative to store bought body butter or creams because all of the ingredients are natural and contain no chemicals or harsh ingredients.

Steps

    You're going to need a pot of boiling water and a glass container, or a double boiler
    .
    You will also need some coconut oil, make sure that it is virgin coconut oil, so it's not refined. As well as some shea butter, vitamin E, and any essential oils that you want to use to make the body butter smell good. For example, some lavender, lemon, or orange. We can also use a mixture of all of these and play with the essential oils to see what smells the best.

    Place the glass container inside of the boiling water

    We will be adding the ingredients into the glass container.

    Add a few tablespoons of coconut oil
    .
    Be careful because, for some people, coconut oil seems to clog their pores, but it is very moisturizing, so you can decide how much to put in.

    When the ingredients are melted together, we can turn off the heat and remove the container from the boiling water

    Once the container has been removed, add the essential oils

    We are going to add lavender so that the body butter smells like lavender. We're just going to put in 10 drops of the oil so that it's not too strong.

    Now that the body butter is done, we should put it in a smaller container so that it is easily accessible
