To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Facebook application

There is a Facebook icon, which is a blue background with a white "f" inside, and underneath it says the word "Facebook". We want to demonstrate how to make posts available only to you in Facebook. These can be private things that we can send to ourselves. Things like reminders, messages, quotes, photos that are personal, etc.
