Ingredients
- 11 big can of fruit cocktail
- 215-20 biscuits, or lady fingers
- 32 peaches
- 44-5 cherries
- 52 cups evaporated milk
- 61 cup whipping cream
- 76 egg yolks
- 81 cup white sugar
- 91/4 cup butter
- 101 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin powder
- 111/2 cup fruit cocktail juice
- 121/4 cup water
- 136 tablespoons white sugar
Procedure
Fruit Cream
- 1Evaporated milk, egg yolks, 1 cup white sugar, and 1/4 cup butter.In a saucepan, combine the following:
- 2Bring to a boil on low heat.
- 3Keep stirring until it slightly thickens.
- 4Then add the whipping cream.
- 5Continue stirring until it completely thickens.
- 6Place half of the cream in a bowl and continue cooking the other half for 3 more minutes.

Gelatin
- 1Gelatin powder, fruit cocktail juice, water, and 6 tablespoons white sugar.In a separate saucepan, combine all the following ingredients:
- 2Bring to a boil while stirring continuously - until the sugar and gelatin powder are completely dissolved.

Arranging
- 1Pour the first half of the cream in a rectangular dish.
- 2Place a layer of ladyfingers.
- 3Spread the fruit cocktail (without the juice) evenly on top of the ladyfingers.
- 4Cover with the second batch of cream, which is cooked for another 3 minutes.
