Alternatives to graham crackers in Crema de frutas are crushed Oreos and butter cookie biscuits. Crema De Frutas is such a versatile and flexible dessert to make that you can experiment with almost any type of biscuits and crackers to go along with your creation. The very essence of Crema de Frutas lies in the fruits that you add to the mix and the cream itself. Just as the name itself indicates, Crema de Frutas is made up of cream and fruits, so adding a variety of pastries like biscuits and cookies won't harm the recipe. Other flavored biscuits may go well as a substitute for graham crackers, depending on your preferences.

The secret to this dessert lies in the layering and the taste of the cream mixture. The richer the cream, the fuller and better-tasting the Crema de Fruta will be. All you have to is line up the graham crackers in order to form one layer. Put the cream and fruits on top of it. Repeat the same process until you reach the rim of your container. Put it in the refrigerator so the shape is preserved.
