   To begin, unlock the phone

   Either press the lock button on the side, or the home button at the bottom.

   Swipe from left to right across the screen

   Enter the passcode, or press a finger to the home button to use the fingerprint scanner

   Find the Kik application

   The icon has a black speech bubble. Tap once to open up the app.

   Press the settings symbol in the top left-hand corner

   Press "Your Account"

   It is the first option.

   Press "Reset Kik"

   It is at the bottom in red. A confirmation window will appear to double check with us. Saying "No" means that we carry on as normal, but "Yes" will log us out.

   Press "Yes"

   Press "OK" on the confirmation window that appears

   It will say, "Kik was reset. You'll need to log in again". Pressing "OK" will close the app.

    Press the Kik icon to load the app

    We have the option to "Register" and "Log In".

    The "Log In" page will load with the username already there.

    Type the account password in the "Password" field

    After it loads, we are logged in.

    The app will ask several questions using pop-up Windows

    Answer them. If there are chats, we will see them, but generally, the app will delete them if no one's talking.
