Log Exercise on Fitbit on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Sid Bedekar, Eng
You are watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can log your exercise on the Fitbit application on an iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom to bring up the lock screen
.
2
Swipe right to enter the passcode or we can use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone
.
3
Find the Fitbit icon which is this one here and tap once to open up the application
.
4
You should already by signed into Fitbit but if you're not, you can refer to our other video where we talk you through exactly how to do that
.
If we are signed in, we should automatically be taken to our "Dashboard" which will look like this screen and it will have today's information listed.
5
Find and tap the plus icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
.
6
Then tap "Track Exercise"
.
7
We can press the "LOG" button at the top of the screen
.
Since we are logging exercises today, Fitbit is assuming that we have already done the exercise and we have forgotten to track it or we didn't have internet access while doing our exercise. In another video, we've talked you through the process of tracking an exercise directly while the exercise is being performed.
8
We have our recent exercises listed here and the only thing we have is "Run" but we can go ahead and tap on the search bar to search for other exercises
.
9
We can search for "Pilates"
.
The application will give us suggestions while we type so we can tap on "Pilates" to log this exercise.
10
We can say when our exercise started by tapping on the "Starts" section
.
11
We can scroll through the different dates and times
.
12
We can edit the duration (the default setting is half an hour) but we can scroll through the number of hours on the first column
.
For example, we exercised for 0 hours and 20 minutes.
13
We can also add the calories in the last row
.
We can tap on "Auto" on the right-hand side to automatically calculate the calories burned. We can also manually type and change the calories.
14
When we are happy with everything, we can press "Add" in the top right-hand corner
.
15
We can see that it has added our calories burned for today
.
16
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can log exercise on the Fitbit application on an iPhone 6
.
If you have any question, comments or queries, feel free to add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
