Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to find the Help Center on the MyFitnessPal app on the iPhone 6.
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone. Alternatively, press the big round button at the bottom of the phone called the home button.
Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe right to unlock the phone. Enter the passcode or press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.
Look for the "MyFitnessPal" app, which, in this case, is in the "Useful" folder. It is a blue icon with a white silhouette of someone jumping, and in the left-hand corner there is a grey tab with a little dumbell symbol. Tap it once to open the application.
It will automatically open to the homepage where we can see our daily calorie count, the option to connect, some status updates and blog posts.
In the bottom gray bar, tap the last option, "More", with 3 dots. This will open up the menu.
Scroll down and tap on "Help" which is the last option with a white question mark in a gray circle on the left. This will open the Help Center.
Tapping "About Us" will give us the option to like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter. Tap on the white arrow in the top left corner to go back.
Tapping on "FAQs / Feedback" will take a little while to load, because it shows quite a bit of information. We can tap "Community Questions" which would show us forums, or scroll down to find exactly which particular topic we're after. On the bottom, we have the option to email them. In this example, we will tap on "Nutrition 101", and that will load all of the particular frequently asked questions about nutrition. There are sections on calories, proteins, etc.
We can also tap the magnifying glass in the top right corner to search.
A search bar will appear, tap the bar, type in the question, and press "Search". In this example, we're searching for "Carrots".
Now we will see forums where carrots are being talked about.
Tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the left corner under the back arrow to bring up particular areas within the FAQ / Feedback section. Tap the back arrow to return to the Help Center.
If we tap on "Terms of Service", we can see the general terms and conditions of MyFitnessPal. It is quite a bit of information, but we can scroll through and read it. Tap the back arrow to go back.
We can tap "Troubleshooting" if there's a particular problem with the app, so we can put in the diagnostic code and then tap on the white check mark. Tap the back arrow to go back.
Tapping on "Video Tutorials" will show us different video titles. For example, "Barcode Scanning" gives us more information about scanning barcodes and finding more information about the food.
If we tap on "Meals and Recipes" it will bring up a video that MyFitnessPal has created.
Scroll through the video using the white dot at the bottom. When we're done, we can tap the back arrow in the top left corner until we return to the main menu.
Tap the home icon in the bottom left corner. This brings us back to where we started.
This concludes the tutorial on where to find the Help Center on the MyFitnessPal app on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, please post them in the section below. Thank you for watching VisiHow.
