Steps

    Let's open the emulator by double-clicking it.

    Then click "File."

    We'll open Pokemon Light Platinum.

    If you don't know how to create save files, you can watch that tutorial. There are several ways to load up the save game. One of them is to simply click on the shortcut. In this case it's F1. Another way is to click "File."

    Then, click on "Load Game".

    Then, you can select the slot. In this case we have slot number 1. Click it. We also have a manually saved state.
