The other options are "RECORD AUDIO", "BURN CD", and "RECORD VIDEO". We're going to be broadcasting to a server so click "BROADCAST".

I have already filled it in with the options that we need
    .
We have "Server:" which is on mixify.com, "Port", "Name", "Password", and also "Genre". It's set to OGG, which is on Icecast. We have also set it to 128 kbps. Most streams are at 96 or 128. We want this to be as high as possible, however, the higher it is the better of an internet connection we're going to need. We can also select this to auto-start whenever we open up the program. We can also choose MPEG or OGG. We're going to use OGG and then just press "OK".

Once everything is done and the server is setup, we can press "START RECORDING"
    .

"Total Time" is what we're going to be looking at
    .
We will see here, it says, "Broadcasting on" and then our link, our "Total Time" and then our actual file. Whenever this is going, that means we're streaming. We'll know that we're streaming to our server whenever this number is going up. If it's not going up, that means we have been disconnected from the server or there's an issue with our internet connection or something related to that.

We're going to want to keep an eye on this to make sure we're still going
    .
Once we're done, we can press "STOP RECORDING" and then it will stop recording and our total time will stop. We're going to want to keep an eye on that because that can tell you some stuff, like if our stream is down.
