Edited by Thor, Gordon, Eng
Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to link and unlink contacts while using a Microsoft Lumia 535 smartphone. This is useful if you have separate entries or profiles for the same contact in your contact list from different social networking services or mail accounts. Linking multiple profiles will display their info in a single contact card.
Turn the phone on by pressing the power button on the right side of the phone.
Swipe the lock screen up to unlock the phone. This will take you to the home screen.
Tap the People tile. In this example, the People tile is located on the home screen. This will take you to your contacts page.
Tap the main contact profile you want to link the other info to.
Tap the link icon at the bottom of your screen, in the middle.
Tap the profile you would like to link to the main contact profile.
You will now be able to see the profiles that are linked.
Repeat steps 6 and 7 to link additional contacts.
To unlink a contact profile, return to the contacts page as in step 3.
Tap the main contact profile you would like to edit.
Tap the link button at the bottom of your screen, in the middle. In this example, you can see that the link icon displays a number 2, indicating there are currently two profiles linked under the main contact card.
Tap the contact profile you would like to unlink.
Tap unlink to unlink that contact profile.
This concludes the tutorial on how to link and unlink contacts while using a Microsoft Lumia 535 smartphone. If you have any questions or comments, please post them in the comments section below. Thank you for watching VisiHow.
