Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to limit who can see old posts on Facebook on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

   We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

   There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

   Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Facebook application

   .

   There is a Facebook icon, which is a blue background with a white "f" inside, and underneath it says the word "Facebook". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder.

   We now need to tap the menu icon in the top right-hand corner to find the account settings menu

   Scroll up or down to find "Account Settings", and tap on it

   There will be a gray circle with a white head and shoulders and gear inside. This will open up the account settings menu.

   Press down on the option labeled "Limit the audience for posts you've shared with friends of friends or Public?"

   In the "Limit The Audience for Old Posts on Your Timeline" page, tap "Limit Old Posts" at the bottom

   This page says, "If you use this tool, content on your timeline you've shared with friends of friends or Public will change to Friends. Remember: people who are tagged and their friends may see these posts as well. You also have the option to individually change the audience of your posts. Just go to the post you want to change and choose a different audience." So, this is going to change our old posts. If we've allowed the public or friends of friends to see our old posts, this is going to change it to friends. As it says, we can also change individual posts as well.

    Tap "Confirm" in the "Are You Sure You Want to Proceed" page

    It says, "You are about to limit old posts on your timeline without reviewing them. Note: This global change can't be undone in one click. If you change your mind later, you'll need to change the audience for each of these posts one at a time." Now all of our old posts have been limited to our friends.
