Limit App Usage on iPhone
Edited by Jay
Limit your daily use of specific apps or entire app categories with Screen Time in iOS 12. In addition to Screen Time's content restrictions and downtime feature, the option to set time limitations on mobile apps is another way to minimize and manage how much you use your iPhone or iPad.
If you find yourself losing track of time because you're preoccupied using apps or playing games, start using Screen Time's app limit on your iPhone.
In this Visi tutorial, we'll cover how to set App Limits for individual applications, as well as entire categories.
For the following guide, we used an iPhone 7 running iOS 12.3.1.
**PLEASE NOTE**
Screen Time is only available for devices running iOS 12.
