Edited by Lukward Thomason, VisiHow, Eng
Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to let apps use your location on Windows 10 computers.
Steps
1
The first thing that we need to do is make sure that we have enabled our location services
.
There is another VisiHow tutorial on how to do so.
2
Now that we have enabled location services, we need to click the lower-left corner of the screen to open the start menu
.
3
Then, we click "Settings"
.
4
When the "SETTINGS" menu opens, we need to scroll down
.
5
6
In "PRIVACY", we need to click "Location"
.
7
We need to enable location services for applications
.
We do it by clicking the "Off" toggle under "Location" on the right side of the screen. We will turn it on.
8
Then, we need to scroll down and enable or disable the specific applications
.
For example, if we want Microsoft Edge to use our location, we need to turn its toggle on.
9
If we don't want Mail and Calendar to use our location, we need to leave its toggle turned off
.
10
We set this according to our preference, and then we can close this window
.
This concludes our tutorial on how to let applications use your location on Windows 10 computers. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comment section below.
