Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In today's video, I am going to show you how to leave a Facebook group using the Groups application on an iPhone 6.

   To start, we need to unlock the phone

   We are using the fingerprint lock by pressing and holding the home button.

   Now we are on our home screen

   We are looking for the Groups application; give it a single press to open it up

   .

   The icon for it looks like a white square with three little people inside of it. It took us to the main page with all the group icons which are the groups we are currently a member of. If we think that we have joined too many groups and some of them are not that exciting, then there is an option to leave a group. If we leave a group, it will never appear on our timeline ever again and we will never receive any notifications from the group.

   To leave a group, we first have to pick a group that we want to leave so just tap on the icon of that particular group

   We will be choosing this one. It will take us to the group with the posts that we might not really like so to leave the group, we want to go to more options.

   If we look on the bottom menu bar, there is an icon with three dots on the right hand side which is the more options icon

   This will open the more options menu with some information about the group. If we look all the way down, we will see two red buttons.

   The first one is "Leave Group" and that is what we need so press on it once

   A pop up menu will double check if we really want to leave the group and we can press "Leave Group" to leave

   We are no longer a member of that group
