   Find the Gloria Victis shortcut on the desktop

   We demonstrate how to create this shortcut in another tutorial. Double-click to open the Launcher.

   Click "Yes" if a user account control warning appears

   .

   To avoid these user account control warnings in the future, check out our VisiHow tutorial on how to disable these warnings, or change the settings so they don't appear as often. Once we get past the warning, the Launcher will appear. It will do a quick check of the game files.

   Click "PLAY" when the button turns brown

   This will launch the game, which will take a moment.

   Click the field marked "Username" and type the username

   Note that usernames are case sensitive.

   This will start the connection process, and things will stop moving on the screen. Sometimes it may take a moment, but that's normal.

   Watch the Load screen

   It says "Loading" and a list of characters will pop up on the left. The scene is a darkened camp.

   When the Loading process finishes, the campfire will be lit, and the character will be standing next to it

   Do note that at the time of creating this tutorial, this game is in beta status. It is not the most reliable or most amazing game yet, but it is very close.

   Select a character to use by clicking on it in the "Select Character" panel on the left

    Mouse to the bottom center of the screen and click "Play"
