Edited by Freya, Sid Bedekar, Jen M
You are watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can label an email on the Gmail application on an iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom to bring up the lock screen
.
2
Swipe right to enter the passcode or we can use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone
.
3
Find the Gmail icon which is this white one here and tap once to open up the application,
4
As we can see, we have already signed in with one of our emails so it has taken us straight to our primary email list
.
5
We need to open whichever email we want to label
.
6
Then go to the arrow in the top right-hand corner
.
This will bring up a new menu
7
Tap "Label..." which has a nice picture of a label above
.
8
It will ask us what we want to label it as
.
We have the option to add new labels which we haven't done so our only option here is "Notes".
9
We can tap the check box on the left side of the words "Notes" and then press "Apply" at the top right-hand corner of the screen
.
10
We can press back to go back to the primary email list
.
11
Then press the icon with three lines to open up the menu
.
12
Then press "Notes" to see all the emails that are labeled as Notes
.
13
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can label an email in the Gmail application on an iPhone 6
.
If you have any question, comments or queries, feel free to add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
