Kickflip in Skateboarding
Edited by Spencer Fitzgerald, Crystal, Eng
Hi, welcome to VisiHow. I'm Spencer Fitzgerald, and today, I'm going to be teaching you how to do a kickflip.
We're going to want to work on our ollies first. If we can't ollie very high, we're probably not going to be able to kickflip.
Our kickflip position will be with our front foot halfway through the board, like with an ollie. We're going to want to put your foot on an angle.
We're going to want to put our back foot the same way we would for an ollie.
Bend down, pop the board.
When we pop, we slide our front foot up and to the side, then flick off the nose of the board. The board will spin all the way around.
When we see our grip tape, we're going to put our feet back down over it and land the same way we would as an ollie.
