You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how to keep your takeaway coffee from spilling out the little hole in the top of the lid. If you're like me, and you drink a lot of coffee (and by a lot, I do mean a lot), you've had many occasion where you're walking, or you're driving in a car, or you're riding in a bus or a train, and you end up spilling coffee out of the hole in the top of your coffee cup.

   This is where coffee often spills out of. We hit a bump, and out comes the coffee. There is a new thing that certain coffee shops have that can be placed inside of the coffee cup.

   Look for this little device

   .

   Sometimes it is called a "swizzle stick" or "swizzle stick-stopper". It looks a little strange, like a tiny ice scream scoop or something we might find at McDonald's for a little child. It works very simply.

   Now coffee won't spill out, as the little thing sits in there nice and tightly. We won't get coffee all over ourselves, our business suit, our friends, or anyone else who might be standing nearby.
